O-ring end seal outer thread can only fit with O-ring end seal inner thread. Outer thread is straight thread with O-ring and inner thread is straight thread with sealing end face. Port connections are usually threaded via BSPP.BSPP (straight) outer threads can be fitted with BSPP (straight) inner threads or internal threaded ports. The BSPP outer thread is straight with a 30 degree taper base. The BSPP internal thread is also straight with a 30 degree taper base. The internal threaded ports are straight threaded with sealing end faces. Seals at the ports are formed by O-rings or soft metal pads on the outer threaded joints.
