How to maintain hydraulic oil?

Hydraulic oil plays an important role in the normal operation of the hydraulic system. In the daily operation of the hydraulic power transmission system, we should pay attention to maintaining the hydraulic oil to prevent accidents.

76.hydraulic oil

Performance requirements of hydraulic oil

(1) Excellent thermal stability and oxidation performance

(2) Excellent lubricity

(3) Excellent foaming

(4) Excellent rust resistance

(5) Excellent viscosity and temperature characteristics

(6) Excellent metal corrosion resistance

(7) Excellent adaptability to sealing materials

Different brands of hydraulic oil can not be mixed

Mixing different brands of hydraulic oil can not give full play to the performance of hydraulic oil. The mixed hydraulic oil will produce sediments, which will greatly reduce the output power. If you use different brands of hydraulic oil, you should carefully clean the hydraulic oil tank and hydraulic piping system, and then replace all the oil.

The influence of contaminated impurities in hydraulic oil on hydraulic oil

Contaminated impurities in the hydraulic oil will stick to or block the filter holes, making the hydraulic pump difficult to operate and generating noise.

Contaminated impurities in the hydraulic oil will block the throttle hole and throttle gap of the hydraulic component, and affect the accuracy of the working mechanism.

Contaminated impurities in hydraulic oil will accelerate the aging of hydraulic oil.

Contaminated impurities in hydraulic oil will accelerate the corrosion and wear of hydraulic mechanical transmission components.

Contaminated impurities in hydraulic oil can cause cavitation, especially when the suction pipe cannot absorb oil.

The impact of dust on hydraulic oil

Once the impurities in the oil block the suction filter, it will cause cavitation in the pump, accelerate the wear of the sliding part of the pump, and eventually cause damage.

In addition, the sliding parts or orifices of various control valves are blocked by impurities, which will cause unstable operations and reduce the original functions.

76.Hydraulic Oil application

The harm of water to hydraulic oil

Since oil and water are incompatible, they cannot be mixed together. Sometimes, water mixed into the oil will make the oil turbid.

The water in the hydraulic oil will speed up the rust and corrosion of the machine and shorten the life of the oil. At the same time, it will reduce the viscosity of the hydraulic oil and deteriorate the oil quality, and the lubricating effect of hydraulic oil will also decrease.

Filter dust and water in hydraulic oil

Replace the hydraulic oil filter element regularly;

When refueling or changing oil, prevent dust and water from entering the hydraulic oil;

Clean the water in the fuel tank regularly, and discharge it at least once every 250 hours;

When hydraulic oil drums are stored in an open storage, they should be lined with sleepers, and the two sleepers should be kept at the same level.

Change hydraulic oil regularly

No matter how good the quality of hydraulic oil is, its performance cannot remain unchanged forever. During use, it may deteriorate due to overheating or be contaminated by foreign matter.

In addition to deteriorating hydraulic oil, it will reduce performance. The organic acid or sludge generated by the degradation can also cause corrosion and rust of hydraulic equipment, causing malfunctions such as malfunction of hydraulic components.

Therefore, in order to prevent the deterioration and pollution of the hydraulic oil from damaging the hydraulic drive systems, it is necessary to follow the oil change standard to keep the performance of the hydraulic oil within a safe range.
