Cartridge valve should not be able to complete all functions by itself, but must be placed in a valve cavity, and other various valves and metric BSP hydraulic hose fittings or hydraulic hoses with fittings together or alone to complete the required functions.
In the operation of the cartridge valve, due to the relatively small force of the return spring, the state of the valve is mainly determined by the oil pressure acting on the three chambers A, B, and X, while Pa and Pb are determined by the system or load. If external control is used (that is, the control oil comes from an oil source other than the working system), then Px is controllable. If internal control is used (that is, the control oil comes from the working system itself), Px will also be affected by the load pressure. Therefore, the change of load pressure and the influence of various impact pressures will inevitably interfere with the internal control pressure. As a result, the design of the cartridge valve system must be carefully analyzed and calculated to clearly understand the pressure change of each branch in the entire working cycle. In particular, we need to pay attention to the interference of impact pressure during the analysis of the action transition, especially the internal control method. We must pay attention to the use of shuttle valves and one-way valves, otherwise, it will cause partial malfunction or paralysis of the entire system.
If several cartridge valves share an oil return or drain pipeline, separate oil return or drain pipelines should be provided to avoid accidental spool displacement caused by pipeline pressure shock. We recommend using push and pull hydraulic quick release couplings and flat face hydraulic quick-release couplings.
Attention should be paid to the influence of area ratio, opening pressure, opening speed, and sealing performance on the valve operation. We can use pressure gauges with snubber and pressure gauge snubbers to test pressure.
Since the cartridge valve circuits are composed of independent control hydraulic resistances, their action consistency cannot be as reliable as traditional hydraulic valves. Therefore, we should rationally design the pilot oil circuit, and use technical measures such as shuttle valves or check valves to avoid instantaneous pass-through which will cause the system to malfunction or even paralyze. At the same time, we also need to consider the appropriate cloth surface rubber hydraulic hose or hydraulic hose assembly.
The valve block is also called an integrated block or channel block. It is the basic valve body for installing plug-in components, control cover, and connecting with external pipelines. The valve block has installation holes (also called insertion holes) for inserting components, main oil passages, and control oil passages. Besides, there is the processing plane for installing the control cover, the processing plane for installing the external pipeline, and the installation plane for the valve block. The installation and connection dimensions and requirements of the two-way cartridge valve should comply with the national standard (GB2877). The valve block can choose the standard parts of the cartridge valve manufacturer, or you can design it yourself according to your needs.
