The booster circuit is used in occasions with special requirements, such as clamping devices. Its main function is to provide a secondary circuit pressure higher than the system's primary circuit pressure, reduce auxiliary power units, and achieve efficiency of hydraulic power transmission system. According to different products, the boost ratio is different, and it needs to be determined according to the actual application conditions of the machine when designing and selecting.
1. Ordinary Supercharger
If you choose this type of supercharger, it is recommended to choose a pilot-operated check hydraulic ball valve installed at the bottom.
The solenoid valve is used to provide working pressure from the hydrostatic drive systems. The pressure of the A port of the pilot-operated check valve connected to the actuator is generated by the supercharger. The pilot-operated one-way valve and the supercharger are independent components, which are superimposed under the supercharger for quick oil replenishment and pressure relief.
If high-pressure oil continues to pass port P, the pilot-operated one-way hydraulic shutoff valve opens, the pressure at port A is released, the four one-way valves of the turbocharger are also in a state of pressure loss, and the actuator is in a loose state. If there is no system pressure at the P port, the pilot-operated check valve cannot be opened, and the A port achieves pressure maintaining, and the actuator is always in a tight state.
If the solenoid valve is energized in the right position, the T port will release pressure. The pressure at port P passes through the built-in two-position four-way directional spool valve of the supercharger and the control piston with a pressure increase ratio, so that the pressure at the port A can be boosted. Due to the internal structure, the directional slide valve automatically switches back and forth between the parallel position and the cross position to ensure the required boost pressure is finally achieved.
2. Integrated Supercharger
The same as an ordinary supercharger, this supercharger includes a boost function and a pressure relief function, but the two functions of the integrated supercharger are integrated.
The hydraulic oil enters the P port of the booster, and the T port is connected to the oil tank. During the pressure building process of the automatic transmission hydraulic system, the hydraulic oil passes through CV1 and CV2, and at the same time passes through the hydraulic actuated ball valve, and the two routes directly reach the HP end to ensure fast oil supply to the hydraulic transmission system.
When the P port pressure gradually builds up, the main piston of the supercharger also starts to move and continuously presses oil into the hydraulic power transmission system. When the main piston moves to each end, a signal will be sent to the piston control valve. The 3000 psi hydraulic ball valve makes the main piston move in the opposite direction. This movement will continue until the output pressure reaches the maximum, then the movement will stop. The main piston continues to move only when there is a leak in the pipeline or the oil is consumed.
After the work is over, open the ball valve for hydraulic system by changing the direction of the oil pressure at the P and T ports of the supercharger, and unload the high-pressure hydraulic oil at the HP port back to the tank.
